Another report named Tourism and Halal Industry which is according to Global Sharia Perspective , authorised by the founding CEO of the IAIS ( International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies) Malaysia , Professor Dr Mohammad Hashim Kamali stated that Islamic tourism only catches a million Muslims performing Hajj or Umrah in Mecca and Madina, or the shrines of Najaf and Karbala in Iraq from worldwide showing that Islamic tourism is lagging behind and needs achieve international tourism in its full capacity .

The most important reason of viewing Halal Tourism Industry according to Sharia perspective is because of Muslim Islamic and dietary rules. As there are many Muslims following the Sharia perspective there is a need to find out the scientific research on healthy food. Halal certified procedures helps to ensure that the attributes like quality, attractiveness, clean operations and cleanliness is observed in Halal food chains and storage being provided in the tourist spots.
